The Graniteville PTO held a family event at Confreda Farms on Saturday, October 15th. Families were invited to pick pumpkins, and take a private hayride together around the farm. Children were able to see water reserves, and many growing vegetables on this farm that provide produce to many surrounding supermarkets. While families were at the farm, they were able to enjoy the other attractions there: bouncy houses, corn maze, and refreshments were available for all to enjoy.

It is with great excitement, that I inform you that Mayor Polisena has graciously donated a brand new outside play structure to our school. The new structure will have a Rumble Seat Slide, a Wide Glide Slide, a Beanstalk climber, a solar climber, a post mount wheel, and a balcony with a telescope! Along with this structure, a safe ground covering was purchased to protect our children from falls that so commonly occur outside in the play areas. This will be installed on the ground around the structure.
We are so fortunate to have someone who puts our children first! Thank you Mayor Polisena!
